“Emma brought a rawness and realness that is special and somewhat rare in partnering with vendors. By the end of the journey, Emma felt like an old friend who we shared an amazing journey - and ultimately a beautiful end result.”

Eden + Ryan were married at The Loading Dock in Stamford CT on a beautiful August evening. They were an absolute joy to work with – and deeply in love too! They wanted to add a soft and elegant touch to the hard interiors of the space and decided to do that with flowers. They had a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony and were married beneath the groom’s grandfather’s talis.

venue

The venue is a modern, industrial space with concrete floors and stark white walls. They soften the space by providing lighting and have a selection of lounge furniture available to couples to incorporate into their design. Eden and Ryan opted to use some long narrow tables for their place cards and style single groupings of flowers in their colors to greet guests as they entered the space. The ceremony space features a raw brick wall and clear ghost chairs for the perfect balance of industrial and modern.

personal flowers

The bride wanted a timeless white rose bouquet with touches of green foliage. We used a mix of classic roses and spray roses to give some variation. The bridesmaids carried posies of all-baby’s breath as a nod to the centerpieces. We crafted corsages using a brass jewelry cuff set with a simple white ranunculus. The gentleman were given with white spray rose boutonnieres tied with a burgundy ribbon to coordinate with the ladies attire.

 ceremony

We used our copper ceremony structure to create an overgrown chuppah covered in smilax greenery, peach stock, quicksand roses, and white hydrangea for a lush garden-style effect. The bridal party walked down the aisle filled with candles in varying heights and rose petals.

 reception

The guest tables alternated between elevated gold metal stands set with wild, garden-style arrangements filled with eucalyptus, nagi, white hydrangea, peach roses, peach stock, and touches of local seasonal flowers like scabiosa and low gold compotes filled with baby’s breath. The low centerpieces were surrounded by a trio of tapered votive candles set with tealights. Dark blue napkins were set on gold chargers to tie in the groom’s attire and tie the entire event together.
