The Mayflower Inn + Spa in Washington, Connecticut is one of my favorite New England retreats. (If you’ve met me, you know I love a good spa). The eclectic country decor by the amazing Celerie Kemble is endlessly inspiring everytime I’m there. The property has a formal garden as well as winding hiking trails throughout - perfect for the couple looking to mix a little luxury in with their woodland experience. The client had their private dinner on the tented terrace in the perfect spring weather.
The client wanted soft, understated luxury in shades of ivory and blush. We used spring blossoms from the CT Flower Collective like snowdrops, tulips, and ranunculus to make the arrangements feel natural in their space. Brenda from Platinum Key Events brought in the perfect touches to complement our floral design with hand-stitched napkins with the client’s initials to wax-pressed escort cards. Everything about this wedding was soft and pretty. Enjoy this peek into their day!
