design notes: romantic, organic, coastal, classic new england, seasonal
There’s something magical about a wedding by the sea, and Michela & Griffin absolutely nailed it. With easygoing charm, vibrant florals, and the kind of love that feels like summer, their big day was all about good vibes and great style. Held at a private beach club just down the street from where they grew up, their wedding was a love letter to hometown roots and coastal chic. And, oh, did the flowers bring all the magic.

bouquets + fashion
From the moment Michela’s bridesmaids gathered around her with their delicate bouquets, the joy was contagious. The flowers were garden-style perfection — a hand-tied mix of cream zinnias, cosmos, blush dahlias, and tweedia, topped off with peach foxglove. These weren’t your average matchy-matchy bouquets, either. Each posy was a little different, giving off that fresh-picked-from-the-garden charm.
And can we talk about the color palette? Those cool, airy blue dresses on the bridal party perfectly complemented the peach and honey-hued flowers, creating the dreamiest New England summer wedding vibe. Michela’s bouquet was an absolute showstopper — creamy, soft, and lush, with a mix of local, seasonal blooms. It was elegant without feeling fussy, just like the couple themselves.
Meanwhile, the groomsmen rocked a look that screamed “cooler-than-casual” with open shirts and sharp sports jackets. No ties, no fuss — just effortless style, perfect for a day at the surf club.
centerpieces
The reception setup? Next-level gorgeous. Picture this: long farmhouse tables, draped in gauzy blue runners, with ceramic bowls overflowing with honey and blue blossoms. Blue delphinium, autumnal hydrangeas, and those chef’s kiss creamy cosmos gave each table a soft yet playful vibe. It wasn’t over-the-top — just the right amount of elegance to feel special but still laid-back. You could tell this was a couple that knows how to celebrate in style without taking things too seriously.
These floral details were more than just décor — they brought the whole experience to life. Each centerpiece felt intentional, tying in with the beachy, relaxed atmosphere of the day. The flowers didn’t just sit on the tables; they belonged there, like they’d been grown just for this very moment.
venue: madison beach club
The couple picked a private beach club, just a stone’s throw from where they grew up — and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Madison, CT, is a quiet little town, known for its sandy stretches of beach and the iconic Hammonasset Beach State Park. And let’s not forget the Beach Club, where the wedding took place.
There’s a laid-back rhythm to Madison that made it the perfect backdrop for M & G’s wedding. Everything about this day felt personal — not just because it was a hometown venue, but because it captured the essence of who they are: fun-loving, adventurous, and full of heart.
